Protecting Your Family’s Visual Legacy

Mason Resnick has been serving the Central NJ community and beyond with a wide range of photographic services for businesses and families since 2012. Services include real estate photography, architecture photography, corporate and nonprofit event photography, photojournalism, product and food photography as well as capturing family lifecycle events.

At the beginning of 2024, Mason launched Generations Photo Restoration. His goal is to use the latest technology to help families protect their visual legacy by digitizing and restoring prints, slides and negatives of all sizes and in any condition.

Before opening his photography business, Mason Resnick spent 35 years writing about photography and working on the editorial staffs of some of the most well-known brands in the photographic industry: Modern Photography Magazine, Popular Photography Magazine, retailers B&H, Adorama, and Willoughby-Peerless. He contributed to trade publications Photo Business, Photo District News, and Digital Imaging Reporter (where he is still a contributor). He also briefly co-authored the “Camera” column for the Sunday New York Times, and contributed a chapter to the book Photography for Dummies.

Mason studied photography under Garry Winogrand, one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century, in 1976. During his time in the photo industry he worked with and interviewed some of the world’s greatest photographers.
